Jason Kidd began working in pallet production at Hope Timber Pallet & Recycling a year and a half ago. He quickly adapted to the demands of the trade, gaining the knowledge and skills necessary forJason Kidd for Hope Timber success. His strong work ethic and reliability have paid off, earning him a promotion to Manager of Building 4, Second Shift, a role he has held for the past eight months. Now, he is receiving the first Employee Spotlight Award of 2025 — an honor we give to shine a light on those who go above and beyond to keep our operations flourishing!

The second shift plays a vital role in Hope Timber’s continued growth. As a leader, Jason takes pride in seeing himself and his team achieve their goals. He values his “great bunch of guys” and knows they have what it takes to meet the demands of each night’s work.

Jason draws an interesting parallel between his role at Hope Timber in Building 4 and the reality show Kitchen Nightmares. Much like Gordon Ramsay, Jason must assess the current conditions of his building, collaborate with his team, and determine necessary improvements. Also, like Ramsay, he supervises the implementation of changes and follows up to ensure success. This process, combined with his straightforward leadership approach, has contributed to both his growth and the success of Hope Timber.

Beyond work, Jason values balance in life. He cherishes time spent playing games with his children and enjoys his favorite hobby — recreational shooting. Through focus, dependability, hard work, and a willingness to take on responsibility, Jason has accomplished a lot in a short time. As he continues to grow, so does Hope Timber!

Thank you, Jason, for your amazing work at Hope Timber thus far!
