Hope Timber is proud to announce Carl Harble, Build Dock Supervisor and forklift driver, as the first Employee Spotlight recipient of 2026. In his role, Carl must lead by example, keeping operations from “going off the rails,” as Ozzy Osbourne sang in his hit song “Crazy Train.” Whether it’s meeting tight deadlines to get trailers out, monitoring accuracy and quality, or giving guidance to other forklift drivers, Carl takes on the challenge each day—just as he has been doing for the past 17 years.

Carl’s team refers to him as “the most awesome boss.” Carl enjoys the people he works with and praises the Hope Timber Company as a whole. He openly shares advice to those looking for employment: “Come join us. Hope Timber is an awesome place to work!” Although the typical day is busy, according to Carl, “those are the good days.”
Fun fact: Carl is an auto racing and dirt track enthusiast. He loves doing mechanical work. Outside of Hope Timber, he can be found in the garage doing maintenance for Harble Motorsports, or lending a hand on weekends at the track, traveling throughout Ohio and beyond to help the team.

Family is about more than racing for Carl. He credits his father as his mentor in life and is proud of his six grandchildren. Just like the employees that report to him, Carl’s family depends on him greatly. Through dedication and commitment, Carl enhances the lives of those around him and makes sure the job gets done!
Thank you for everything you do for Hope Timber and beyond, Carl.
