Newark, Ohio’s charitable impacts

Hope Timber Pallet & Recycling recognizes the importance of giving back to the community and supporting charitable causes. We carefully select organizations that resonate with our company values, particularly focusing on those close to our operations in Newark, Ohio.

Part of our mission is to build better lives, as we believe everyone deserves a second chance. To effectively reduce homelessness and address the lack of access to basic needs for many in Newark, the entire community needs to work together.

Understanding housing instability

By educating ourselves about the causes of housing instability, we can cultivate a deeper understanding and empathize with individuals facing challenging circumstances. According to Atlanta Mission, some major causes of homelessness include:

  • Lack of trustworthy relationships
  • Illness and disability
  • Abuse
  • Working but in poverty
  • Unemployment
  • Lack of affordable housing
  • Personal hardship

Housing instability can affect individuals from all walks of life. Building better lives means offering compassion and support and fostering positive change for individuals experiencing challenging circumstances.

Lack of access to basic necessities

Truthout claims, “At least 27 million U.S. workers can’t afford all the basic necessities of life,” explaining how many are forced to choose between paying rent, buying food or getting medicine. The so-called “American Dream” is an elusive and unattainable ideal for many Americans.

To help individuals who can’t afford their basic needs, support the charitable organizations focused on fulfilling these needs and making a difference in someone’s life.
